Dr Robinson established NeuroKids to address the need for a dedicated service that combines clinical expertise in paediatric neuropsychology with the delivery of evidence-based, needs-led approaches to support children, young people, and their families affected by neurological, neurodevelopmental, and neuropsychiatric conditions.
NeuroKids is dedicated to providing targeted, time-limited psychological support to meet individual cognitive, emotional, behavioural, social, and educational needs. The aim is to empower children, young people, families and other professionals working with individuals with presenting needs, to promote positive developmental, educational and life outcomes.
About Us
Specialists in Child Neuropsychology - the service is led by Dr Sally Robinson,
Consultant Paediatric Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist
Who We Are
NeuroKids is a specialist paediatric neuropsychology service supporting children and young people with complex neurological, neurodevelopmental, and psychological needs. We work with families, professionals, and commissioning bodies to provide assessment-led, evidence-based input that informs understanding, decision-making, and meaningful support.
Our work sits at the intersection of clinical care, education, rehabilitation, and medico-legal practice. We are known for combining rigorous neuropsychological expertise with a practical, child-centred approach, ensuring that assessments and recommendations are both clinically robust and usable in real-world settings.
NeuroKids was established to address the need for a service that offers clarity rather than open-ended input, and formulation rather than generic intervention. All work begins with a clear clinical question and defined purpose, whether support is parent-led or professionally commissioned.
We place strong emphasis on:
-
High standards of clinical governance and professional accountability
-
Collaborative working with families and wider systems
-
Clear communication and transparent recommendations
-
Proportionate, needs-led support that evolves as children develop
Our team brings together specialist expertise across neuropsychology, clinical psychology, and educational psychology, working within a shared framework that prioritises quality, consistency, and outcomes for children and young people.
