Specialist Partner for Case Managers

Paediatric neuropsychology and educational psychology for complex rehabilitation and medico-legal cases

NeuroKids provides senior-led paediatric neuropsychology, psychological, educational psychology and rehabilitation support tailored to the needs of children and young people with complex neurological, neurodevelopmental and psychological presentations. We work closely with case managers to inform care planning, rehabilitation and medico-legal decision-making.

Why Case Managers Work With Us

NeuroKids is structured to support clear decision-making, risk management and continuity of care in complex paediatric cases. Our approach is designed to integrate seamlessly with case management processes, providing clarity and confidence at each stage.

Senior clinical oversight and formulation-driven input

All work is led and overseen by a senior paediatric neuropsychologist, ensuring clinical accountability, consistency of formulation and proportional input. This reduces fragmentation, supports coherent care planning and allows recommendations to be revisited and refined as a child’s needs evolve.

Multi-domain assessment and integrated recommendations

We assess across relevant domains (neuropsychological, psychological, educational, and functional), bringing findings together within a single, integrated formulation. Recommendations are prioritised, practical and clearly linked to functional impact, supporting effective planning and implementation.

Transparent process and clear expectations

We provide clarity from the outset regarding scope of work, timescales and costs, with agreed parameters for assessment, reporting and any ongoing input. This supports efficient case progression and avoids uncertainty or unplanned escalation.

Collaborative, needs-led working

Input is flexible and proportionate, adapting as needs evolve. We work closely with case managers, solicitors, healthcare professionals, schools and families to support consistency and continuity in the child and family's rehabilitation journey.

Medico-legal and rehabilitation-focused reporting

Our reports are written with medico-legal and rehabilitation contexts in mind, addressing relevant questions around function, prognosis, capacity and support needs. Reports are clear, structured and suitable for use by case managers, solicitors and multidisciplinary teams.

Who We Support

We work with children and young people up to age 25 who present with:

  • Acquired brain injury and neurological conditions

  • Complex neurodevelopmental profiles (e.g., ASD, ADHD, learning differences)

  • Functional neurological presentations

  • Co-occurring emotional and behavioural challenges

Our rehabilitation and assessment pathways support both therapeutic and medico-legal needs.

Case managers and professional referrers can contact us via:

We will confirm whether the referral fits our scope and discuss the next steps.

2. Case Review & Cost Estimate

Provide relevant background information or complete our Request for Support Form. We review details and provide an estimated scope of work and costs.

3. Instruction & Agreement

Before work begins, we require a formal Letter of Instruction and confirmation of funding arrangements.
