She currently works as a main-grade Educational Psychologist in Dorset, supporting children and young people with a wide range of learning, social, emotional and neurodevelopmental needs, and working closely with families, education professionals and wider services.
Before qualifying as an Educational Psychologist, Dr Io worked extensively in education, including supply teaching, specialist tutoring, and supporting children in mainstream, SEN and alternative provision settings. She also has experience working with looked-after children and collaborating with community social care teams, giving her a strong appreciation of the broader systems around a child.
