Services & Expertise

At NeuroKids, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for children and young people, with services tailored to their unique therapeutic and medico-legal needs.

At NeuroKids, our work is assessment-led, formulation-driven, and evidence-based. All work begins with a clearly defined clinical question and purpose, whether support is parent-led or professionally commissioned. Our approach is grounded in neuropsychological understanding, developmental science, and clinical governance, ensuring that assessments and recommendations are robust, proportionate, and meaningful in real-world contexts.

.

Assessment-Led Pathways & Intervention

All pathways are assessment-led. Following assessment and formulation, findings and recommendations are discussed with families or commissioning professionals.

Therapeutic or rehabilitative input is:
  • Offered only where clinically indicated,

  • Evidence-based and developmentally informed

  • Time-limited and goal-focused

  • Agreed in advance and reviewed regularly

  • Appropriate and proportionate to identified needs.

Clinical & MDT Leadership

Our service is led by a Registered Paediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist with extensive experience across NHS, independent, rehabilitation, and medico-legal settings. This leadership ensures high standards of clinical practice, governance, and accountability across all work undertaken.

The British Psychological Society (BPS) Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists is the gold standard for registration for clinicians practising in neuropsychology.

Child-Centred, Needs-Led Practice

Our work is grounded in a child-centred, needs-led model that recognises each child’s unique profile and evolving presentation over time. This allows recommendations to remain responsive, realistic, and relevant as children grow and circumstances change.

Clinical reasoning takes account of:
  • Developmental stage and trajectory

  • Cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and social functioning

  • Family, educational, and care contexts
